THE STOPS
Corralejo Dunes · Costa Calma Sotavento · Ajuy · Betancuria · Mirador de Guise y Ayose
The tour begins at the Corralejo Dunes, a sweeping sea of golden sand beside the Atlantic, before heading south to Costa Calma and spectacular Sotavento Beach, famous for its lagoons, wind and shifting tidal colours. The route continues to Ajuy on the west coast: its volcanic black-sand beach and cliffside path to the caves reveal Fuerteventura's oldest and wildest side. You'll have time to visit the caves, hear their geological story and enjoy the dramatic contrast between dark rock and ocean.
BETANCURIA & VIEWPOINT
Ancient capital · Historic valley · Guise and Ayose statues
In the heart of the island you'll visit Betancuria, the former capital, with quiet streets and a colonial atmosphere. Before returning, stop at the Mirador de Guise y Ayose, where two monumental statues overlook the valley and offer one of the route's most impressive views.
