Have you ever thought about experiencing a day full of history, lava flows, active
volcanoes, wine tasting, natural water pools and breathtaking viewpoints?
On this tour you will discover wonderful places of the beautiful island of Lanzarote,
accompanied by a professional guide. You will visit the suggestive cave of Jameos
del Agua, the highest point of the north of the island (678 m asl) which takes the
name of “Las Peñas del Chache” and you will cross the village of “Haria” also known
as “village of the thousand palms”
Continuing the tour you will admire the work of the famous Canarian artist Cesar
Manrique, the “Monumento al Campesino”. Finally the most awaited moment of the
day will come: the Timanfaya National Park with more than 300 volcanoes asleep.
You will be told the history of these mountains of fire, complete with geothermal
demonstrations and you will be accompanied along the lunar path around the
national park.
After the volcanic experience, the time will come to taste the famous local wines of
the winery “La Geria” with a particular flavor due to the method of cultivation and
storage. You will continue the tour by admiring the salt pans of Janubio, the largest
salt lake in the Canaries, Los Hervideros and “El Golfo” with its unusual and
fascinating green waters.
